As a Security Professional - Distribution Entry Screener in Davenport, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in monitoring access points, conducting security-related screening procedures, and assisting with badge verification. You will help to deter incidents by maintaining a visible presence and providing strong customer service, fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Conduct screening procedures for individuals entering the logistics and distribution location, checking for prohibited items and assisting with controlled access.
• Provide customer service by communicating clearly and courteously with all visitors, employees, and delivery personnel while performing security-related procedures.
• Carry out site-specific policies and procedures related to the screening and security of goods, vehicles, and personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist in maintaining order and help to deter unauthorized activity within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Prepare and complete necessary reports on screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by the site.
• Participate in regular and/or random patrols of designated areas within the location to support ongoing security-related operations, as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
