Security Officer - Residential Access Control

As a Security Officer - Residential Access Control in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at this residential location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for residents and staff. Your visible presence and ability to respond promptly to situations will be valued, along with providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
