Analyst Culinary Compliance and Programs Position Summary: The Analyst Culinary Compliance & Programs, is part of JetBlue's Culinary Programs team and plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, safety, and consistency of onboard dining. Reporting to the Manager, Onboard Culinary Programs, this role balances program administration with field support, strengthening the connection between specifications, compliance standards, and day-to-day execution. The Analyst is responsible for building and maintaining menu specifications, crew materials, and internal dish directories that serve as the single source of truth for culinary programs. In addition, the role supports compliance oversight through audits, kitchen visits, and corrective actions, working in coordination with other analysts to monitor food safety and business partner performance across the network. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in both structured program environments and dynamic field settings. By combining administrative discipline with compliance support, the Analyst helps ensure JetBlue's catering business partners and crewmembers have the tools and resources needed to deliver a safe, reliable, and high-quality onboard experience. Essential Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain menu specifications, recipes, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency across catering stations.
- Maintain and update dish directories as the internal single source of truth for all onboard menu items, including performance history, to support accurate specifications and program decisions.
- Create and update crew materials that clearly translate product and service requirements into executable steps.
- Conduct compliance activities, including audits, kitchen visits, and corrective actions, to ensure adherence to JetBlue's food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Document and track audit findings, follow-up actions, and resolution status to support continuous improvement.
- Partner with stakeholders, including but not limited to, Catering Standards, Inflight Service Delivery, and Catering Operations to validate specifications and crew guides align with galley planning, catering capabilities, and inflight execution.
- Provide timely updates to partners and stakeholders on specification changes, compliance findings, and corrective actions.
- Serve as a point of contact for catering stations on program materials, audits, and compliance deliverables.
- Support food safety incident response in coordination with Compliance, Catering Ops, Catering Standards and all other relevant teams.
- Assist the Manager in developing scalable systems for tracking menu changes, specifications, and compliance activity.
- Identify gaps in program documentation or compliance processes and recommend improvements.
- Share insights from field visits and audits to strengthen team knowledge and improve program accuracy.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Hospitality Management, or related discipline; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous experience.
- One (1) year of experience in food and beverage operations, airline catering, hospitality, or quality/compliance program management.
- Strong understanding of food safety principles and regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply them in daily work.
- Experience creating or maintaining structured documentation such as specifications, training guides, or compliance records.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn new systems and digital tools.
- Available for domestic and occasional international travel to support audits, kitchen visits, and program implementation (50%).
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience in airline catering, contract food service, or hospitality operations with exposure to menu specifications or compliance processes.
- Familiarity with airline or large-scale food production environments, including catering kitchens and menu changeovers.
- Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe Manager or equivalent).
- Experience supporting audits, corrective actions, or compliance monitoring in food and beverage operations.
- Demonstrated ability to create clear training or reference materials, such as crew guides or compliance checklists.
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Catering Standards, Catering Operations, Service Delivery, or Product Development.
- Multilingual ability preferred, particularly English/Spanish, French, or Dutch, to support JetBlue's global catering network.
- Adaptability to different cultural practices and regional norms in international kitchen and business partner environments.
- Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage details, track progress, and support team initiatives in a structured way.
Crewmember Expectations:
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice.
- Able to maintain a professional appearance.
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.

- Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS).

- Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary, including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR)).
- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.), and Company policies, procedures, and risk controls.
- Uphold JetBlue's safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to duties and responsibilities. The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

- Hybrid office and field-based role, with time spent in office environments, catering kitchens, and onboard aircraft during audits or menu changeovers.

- Flexibility to travel as needed to support audits, kitchen visits, or partner coordination.
Physical Effort

- Manual dexterity required for reviewing food specifications, handling product samples, and completing compliance documentation.
Compensation
- The base pay range for this position is between $50,000.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
