Senior Pricing Analyst

Your role on the team:



  • Manages all aspects of responses to Request for Tender (RFT), tenders, and bids pertaining to ocean accounts focusing on quotes for all export and Asia-Pacific (APAC) imports
  • Arranges Intermodal transport
  • Coordinates with overseas offices to collect accurate local charges and air/ocean freight rates while assessing data from a variety of sources to prepare a competitive price for the customer
  • Assists Head of Air Freight to develop and enact competitive pricing strategies; manages prices for key accounts
  • Administers pricing updates for existing customers including rate extension, revision, monthly market GRI's (General Rates Increases), and quarterly bunker updates (BAF/BUC)


What you need:



  • Minimum of 5 years of related and/or combination of education and work experience
  • Experience with US Customs Regulations. CHB licensed preferred, but not required
  • Experience with the CargoWise suite of logistics software
  • Knowledge in all modes of transport
  • Knowledge of Import and Export processes and requirements as it relates to pricing
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access, and Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customers
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Strong organization and project-management skills, including the ability to meet demanding, evolving, and often competing deadlines
  • Ability to Work cross-functionally throughout departments to prioritize pricing request responses
