Position Overview
The ATM & Dispute Specialist is responsible for managing customer disputes, processing them efficiently, and supporting the daily operation of the Dispute Resolution department. This role also involves monitoring ATM operations, addressing system issues, and ensuring seamless functioning of Old Second's ATM fleet.

Essential Job Functions



  • Process Reg E disputes and determine effective Return Reason Codes.
  • Submit disputes through Data Navigator and annotate them in Centrix.
  • Maintain fraud and non-fraud documentation, and coordinate system troubleshooting.
  • Scan and attach necessary documentation to disputes.
  • Monitor ATM transactions and identify system issues or dispenser malfunctions using Star Station.
  • Provide technical support, problem-solving, and troubleshooting for ATM operations.
  • Track and respond to ATM servicing needs using various software.
  • Coordinate repairs and troubleshooting of ATMs and assist with ATM implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and bank policies.
  • Investigate suspicious card activity to minimize fraud loss.
  • Coordinate with vendors for portable ATM machines retrieval and installation for events.


Minimum Requirements



  • High School diploma (or equivalent) and two or more years of retail banking and/or bank operations experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to work well with others and cooperate in a team setting.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply information and policies.
  • Ability to readily adapt in response to changes in schedule and work priorities.


Preferred, but not required



  • Prior dispute experience and knowledge of Reg E.
  • Previous ATM experience.


Location Details

This position requires the incumbent to work onsite on a daily basis to perform the regular responsibilities of the role.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay: $20.10 - $26.10
