As a Security Officer - Tech Site - Full Time in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a dynamic Tech, Media, and Telecom location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors. This role calls for strong communication skills and a proactive approach in creating a welcoming atmosphere while addressing security-related needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities as required by site procedures.
• Assist in controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and emergency personnel if situations arise.
• Support the overall security-related operations of the location, adapting to changing conditions or requirements as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
