As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and commitment to outstanding customer service will support daily operations. Utilizing your communication skills, you will interact with visitors and staff, addressing inquiries while assisting with access control. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the site and respond promptly to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting security-related needs on site.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support site operations.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings within the utilities environment and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and first responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred, depending on state and local requirements.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
