This role is responsible for the designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and resilient network solutions across diverse environments including cloud, vessel, on-premises, HQ, and remote offices. Supports existing IT/OT network infrastructure, leads future network deployments, and establishes best practices and technical standards. Serves as a subject matter expert for enterprise-level networking projects, mentoring Team Members, and providing escalation support to ensure optimal performance.   What we are looking for... 
 
 You will need to have:
 Collaborates with stakeholders to support business and technology initiatives through continuous enhancements to network infrastructure reliability, regulatory compliance, and cloud security posture while promoting best practice driven technical approaches and solutions.Communicates with stakeholders, raising any issues that would negatively impact network infrastructure, sharing details of project/incident progress, and notifying impending changes and/or upcoming outages.Serves as a Subject Matter Expert to Team Members, developing and overseeing the documentation of networking policies, procedures, standards, and diagrams, enabling knowledge transfer/sharing on networking topics and processes.Leads the installation, configuration, testing, monitoring, maintaining, and lifecycle tracking of physical and cloud network hardware, software, and communication links ensuring optimal performance, compliance with Cybersecurity standards, and minimal downtime.Troubleshoots network and hardware problems and manage through resolution, communicating with stakeholders on progress, resolution, and conducting root cause analysis to provide lessons learned.Conducts vessel and remote office site visits to evaluate, troubleshoot, and provide support with complex technical issues for technology infrastructure.Contributes to strategic planning and project management by performing network infrastructure readiness assessments, analyzing trends in utilization and growth, and providing proactive design guidance based on the observed needs of the business.Manages network-related projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Performs all other duties as assigned.
 
  Even better if you have:
 Ability to work periodically after-hours and the occasional weekend as required by role projects/tasks.Ability to travel up to 25% of time to perform onsite visits to ACBL remote sites and vessels.Ability to adhere to the remote site, vessel, and United States Coast Guard (USCG) employee safety standards and protocols.Ability to traverse vessels on inland waterways while carrying equipment.Must be able to obtain a Transportation Work Identification Card (TWIC) upon hire.
