Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Specialist team will be trained and developed to be the first point of contact for external leads coming into the business for our Precision & Science Technology brands. They will offer a timely response to all incoming inquiries delivering a superior customer experience across our Industrial pump business line driving positive Net Promoter Score and improved lead handoff. Closing order processes with our internal sales teams and external channel partners will be a daily responsibility. By taking a customer-centric approach, we have the opportunity to create real value throughout the customer-buying journey and deliver an overall competitive advantage in the market. The right candidate will bring a combination of experience in direct to end-user sales, customer service, and problem solving.



Responsibilities:


  • Lead qualification: Proactively engage with leads to assess technical needs and qualify sales opportunities, resulting in a consistent pipeline of high-quality prospects.

  • Lead Response: Serve as the initial point of contact for website-generated leads, assess their potential, and swiftly close them personally or direct them to the appropriate team member, ensuring a consistently positive customer experience.

  • Competitive Sales Insight: Identify and leverage opportunities to convert customers from competitor products, driving new sales and expanding market share.

  • Follow-Up Management: Actively track and advance all warm leads within the company, liaising with the relevant teams, and diligently pursue resolution to a win or loss outcome.

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Lead Management: Utilized CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Interlynx) to track lead activity, manage follow-ups, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions.

  • Customer Experience Enhancement: Contribute to improving the company's Net Promoter Score (NPS) by fostering a positive interaction for all inbound inquiries.

  • Sales Process Optimization: Continuously refine and optimize sales lead processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Provide quotes and budgetary pricing.

  • Product Knowledge Expertise: Qualify customers for general product category level fit and drive product recognition where part number is known that will lead to eCommerce sales supporting strategic business growth.

  • Perform other duties as needed to support the company's mission and objectives.



Requirements:


  • Associate degree (or equivalent education) required

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales & service environment, or equivalent years of experience.

  • Must be fluent English

Preferences:


  • 2+ years of proven customer service and technical expertise in the manufacturing or process Industry

  • Direct experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems
  • Technical expertise/aptitude
  • Ability to speak Spanish


Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:


  • This is a hybrid position in Bryan, OH.

  • Travel not expected, but up to 5% travel is possible as needed.




The total pay range for this role, including incentive opportunities, is $58,000-$72,000. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
