Overview:

Reports to Executive Director of Corporate Health and Wellness Operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's of Science degree in Health/Wellness-related field.
  • Licensure: Licensure as appropriate in the applicable state of practice.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years' experience in Healthcare.
    • Previous experience researching, designing, and delivering Health Promotion presentations to groups.
    • 2 years of leading or supervising co-workers.
  • Certification/Registration:
    • AHA Basic Life Support certification.
    • Complete phlebotomy certification within 4 weeks.
  • Other:
    • Knowledge of health care reimbursement and finance, physician practices, physician compensation and patient accounting.
    • Must have good computer skills.
    • Knowledge of services related to occupational medicine.
    • Knowledge of OSHA standards.
    • Strong verbal and written skills.
    • Knowledge in wellness and program development for industry.
    • Knowledge of HRA components and impact on ROI for industry.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Regular and punctual attendance.
    • Confinement in tight, crowded, noisy and drafty workspaces.
    • Frequent mobility in accessing files, charts, and patients.
    • Ability to travel extensively in a four-state region.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and Clinic personnel.
    • Legible handwriting.
    • Requirement to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
    • Ability to work under stress.
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
    • Rigid accuracy in the identification and reporting of co-worker directions, patient instructions, medications, data billing and payments.
    • Willingness to use personal protective equipment in compliance with exposure control program.

Preferred Certification/Registration: Certified Wellness Coach.
