Position Objective: This position entails the performance and documentation of maintenance on production and miscellaneous equipment, including both preventive and corrective actions. Mechanical, electrical, and power tools are employed for the performance of these tasks. Organization and maintenance of spare parts and supplies stock is also required. Responsibilities: 
  
 Inspect and perform periodic maintenance on a broad variety of production equipment such as:
 
   
 CNC and manual machining centersVibratory and centrifugal mass finishing machinesMedical product inspection systems and instrumentsVacuum furnace systemsUltrasonic cleaners, microscopes, and rotary hand pieces
 
 Diagnose problems and perform corrective maintenance on such equipment as requiredUtilize maintenance software and paper records to track and document maintenance activitiesMonitor and maintain purified water systemMaintain and organize a stock of spare parts and supplies required for maintenanceMake routine electrical or plumbing hookups and installationsSuggest process or equipment improvementsInstall, fabricate, or modify equipment when necessarySupport other departments and individuals as appropriateRun occasional errands in personal vehicle, if qualifiedRelate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions: (a) can get along with co-workers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes; (b) respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisorManage time effectively
 Other responsibilities as assigned.    Qualifications: 
  
 Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.Three or more years of related experience in equipment maintenance or mechanical repairs, preferably with experience in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry methods.Requires the ability to document maintenance activities in conformance with good manufacturing procedures.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instruction. Required to read, write and speak English with good command of the language, follow verbal and written instructions and use simple math.Basic computer skills including at minimum, be adept in use of MS Office, internet, and electronic mail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsMust have a valid driver's license and a good driving record, Employees in this classification must maintain insurability during the term of employment
