Location: Williamsport, MD
Department: Warehouse
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Wage Range: $26.00 - $29.00

Provide hands-on leadership in the warehouse by training for new and current employees. Provides training on safety and other key job functions within the warehouse.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Train assigned personnel to accurately, consistently, and safely use warehouse management systems, along with material handling equipment and supplies
  • Serves as a coach and mentor to assigned personnel (WH & Parcel)
  • Evaluates performance of assigned personnel
  • Follows and applies standard work and work instructions
  • Works to eliminate waste in all areas of the position
  • Manage RF Equipment (repairs & replacements)
  • Own WH Vending Machine (ordering)

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School diploma or general equivalency degree
  • Demonstrated on-the-job behaviors that reflect positive and constructive approaches to business issues
  • Trained in all WH Functions (Loading, Receiving, Picking, Transfer Processing, and Narrow Aisle)
  • Conscientious ability to maintain confidential company personal records
  • Professional and effective communication and organization skills
  • Valuable prioritization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

  • College degree
  • Prior success in a leadership or training role
  • Great interpersonal skills in working with employees
  • Ability to work independently as well as work with other departments
  • Excellent typing skills

ROLE SPECIFICS

  • Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm, schedule may vary
  • Working in below negative temperatures to high heat temperatures
  • Occasional overnight travel required. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
