  Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)has an opportunity for a Program Assistant, Health Equity for Adolescents in the Legal System (HEAL) in the Administration for Legal Services.PAGNY staffs several municipal hospitals and clinics within New York City through an affiliation agreement withNYC Health + Hospitals. PAGNY's corporate staff provides administrative, practice management, and human resources services in support of its more than 4,000 clinical providers. The HEAL Program is a new NYC Health + Hospitals initiative to transition into being the primary provider of medical services to young people in City custody.NYC Health + Hospitals employed providers will be responsible for 24/7 medical care across two secure detention sites, two school-based health centers, and limited pharmacy services at seven non-secure sites (group homes). Services include comprehensive medical screenings, dental screenings and procedures, vaccinations and routine testing, responses to immediate need, and referrals for offsite care within and outside theNYC Health + Hospitals system.
