 The Senior HR Technology Project Manager is a key role within the HR Technology team, supporting the phased implementation and ongoing project-based activities of Workday HCM/Core, Payroll, Talent, Learning, Workforce Planning, Extend, and Contingent Worker Management. The individual will provide strategic and tactical leadership and oversight for crafting, sustaining, implementing, and driving efficient and effective project/portfolio management in support of HR Technology business objectives within specified timelines and budgets. This role requires a deep understanding of HRIS/IT technical concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. They will also be responsible for providing overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery. The Senior HR Technology Project Manager will need to establish methodologies to set productivity and quality targets and to assess results for all projects. Responsibilities Project Planning and Strategy: 
  
 Collaborate with stakeholders to define Workday project scope, goals, and deliverablesDevelop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgetsIdentify technical requirements and potential risks, and develop mitigation plans
 Team Leadership: 
  
 Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environmentProvide clear direction to team members, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectivesMentor and guides team members, promoting professional growth and development
 Project Execution: 
  
 Manage project execution according to the project plan, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budgetMonitor project progress and performance, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful project deliveryAddress and resolves project issues, conflicts, and challenges as they arise
 Stakeholder Communication: 
  
 Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issuesFacilitate effective communication between project teams, clients, and other stakeholdersManage stakeholder expectations and ensures their requirements are understood and addressed
 Quality Assurance: 
  
 Ensure that project deliverables meet high-quality standards and are aligned with technical specificationsImplement best practices and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle
 Budget and Resource Management: 
  
 Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource utilization, ensuring efficient allocation of resourcesTrack project costs and makes recommendations for cost optimization where possible
 Risk Management: 
  
 Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project deliveryDevelop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize project disruptions
 Documentation and Reporting:

 Qualifications 
  LEGAL STATEMENT
 Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of experience and education is required10+ years experience in technical SaaS HR Technology project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex, global projectsPMP or project management certification is preferredDeep knowledge of Workday portfolio, with experience in implementation and ongoing maintenance and supportThorough understanding of HRIS/IT technical concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong understanding of technical concepts and HR software development lifecycleExceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in project management tools and softwareExperience in risk management, quality assurance, and resource managementAbility to influence and drive decision making in a matrixed environment, with direct experience in negotiationAbility to create and deliver targeted communication to internal and external stakeholders at various levels within the organizationStrong group facilitation and conflict management skillsExcellent analytical, time management, resource management, and planning skills
