Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

  • Estimated annual base pay: $60,000(minimum) - $78,000(midpoint) - $96,000(maximum)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance: An Accountant I is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all financial regulations, laws, and internal controls.

  • Data analysis: An Accountant I is responsible for analyzing financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Financial reporting: An Accountant I is responsible for preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Support: An Accountant I may be responsible for providing support to other members of the finance team, including preparing financial reports.

  • Bookkeeping: An Accountant I is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

  • Attention to detail: The ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.

  • Communication: The ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Compliance: The ability to stay up-to-date on financial regulations and laws and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

  • Reconciliation: The ability to reconcile financial accounts and ensure that all financial records are valid, complete, and accurate.

  • Math and analytical skills: The ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns.

  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and take on new challenges.

Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) of Accounting or Finance required
