This position will be responsible for growing revenue for Kentucky Trailer Service and to support Kentucky Trailer customers' aftermarket need. Coordinates with the Director of Sales, Finance, and Operations to obtain an optimal flow of orders. Responsible for the administrative services of sales. Supervises the order processing and the relationships with clients for the administrative aspects of the sale (complaints, billing, deliveries, etc.). Manages a team of direct reports.

Position Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue to KTS through aftermarket parts, service, modification, and new builds
  • Review customer trailers and write-up refurb quotes to customers
  • Work with drive-in customers on service and repair needs
  • Responsible for rental and used trailer sales
  • Responsible for growing online part sales
  • Manage team of order writers for parts and service
  • Identify new customers / revenue streams to fit into KTS business strategy
  • While overnight travel is not expected, local travel to customers may be required

Qualifications:

  • Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Degree, or a related field.
  • Proven experience, 5+ years, in sales operations, business analysis, and/or business management role with increasing responsibility
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales-related tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Leadership skills to manage and motivate sales operations teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with sales forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes.
