Maintenance Technician III

Entegris is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician III for our Decatur, TX facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks and assignments including the maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility infrastructure. A key focus will be on equipment reliability, safety, troubleshooting, and process improvement projects

What You'll Do:

  • Repair blowers, vacuum pumps, augers, gas furnaces, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot, electrical components such as contactors, switches, relays, and controllers,
  • Walk the production line daily and look for abnormalities in the equipment,
  • Troubleshoot production issues with support from the maintenance team and/or engineering,
  • Will support the installation of new equipment, retrofitting of old equipment, and facility capital projects to help improve the manufacturing process,
  • Educate operators to improve day-to-day machine operations and update documents if needed
  • Order parts and build materials list to complete upcoming projects,
  • Work as a team or independently as the tasks require,
  • Maintain an organized and safe work area. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Safely perform duties and observe approved safety procedures.
  • Be exposed to outdoor working conditions, and dusty or dirty environments,
  • Occasionally be on-call for a full week, including weekends and nights as part of the team rotation,
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.

What We Seek:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Tech.
  • Experience working on large industrial equipment like high-temperature furnaces, rotary piston vacuum pumps, powder transfer systems, etc.
  • Electrical component knowledge to troubleshoot motor starters, relays, pressure switches, temp controllers, etc.
  • Ability to read P&IDs, wiring schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Basic welding knowledge preferred.
  • Candidate must be a permanent resident of the U.S. to comply with export control laws.
  • Willing to adapt to changing responsibilities based on production priorities.
  • Able to identify areas to improve or create PM procedures to reduce equipment failures.
  • Experience in working in an ISO 9001/14001/45001 and AS9100 environment is a plus.
  • Able to climb stairs and ladders, and safely lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to pass pre-employment physical.
  • Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.
  • Some Flexibility in working schedule due to projects, breakdown situations, etc.
