Strategic Tradeshow Coordinator

The Opportunity:

This role encompasses support to Joint or Service Headquarters with planning, organizing, and executing international trade shows and events that support the defense exports and international cooperation objectives. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in event management, strategic planning, and international defense operations. The coordinator will work closely with Joint or Service Headquarters stakeholders, foreign partners, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of events that align with the Department of Defense's mission to strengthen defense partnerships.

As a Strategic Tradeshow Coordinator, you will develop and implement strategic plans for international trade shows and exhibitions that showcase U.S. defense capabilities and foster international defense cooperation. You will coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, travel arrangements, and on-site operations. You will ensure compliance with international regulations, customs, and cultural considerations for each event location. To bring best value, you will work closely with Joint or Service headquarters leadership, program offices, and other stakeholders to align event goals with defense export and cooperation objectives. You will build and maintain relationships with foreign partners, external vendors, industry partners, and local authorities to ensure successful event execution. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all event-related communications and inquiries.

As an organizational advisor of all aspects of event planning, you will identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address challenges during event planning and execution, resolve issues promptly and effectively to ensure smooth operations and positive outcomes, provide detailed post-event reports, including attendee feedback and performance metrics, and use data-driven insights to refine strategies for future events and support Joint or Service Headquarters mission objectives.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in event planning, tradeshow coordination, or international defense operations, including overseas and international events

  • Experience in event management software and tools

  • Knowledge of Service Headquarters-level organizations, roles, and missions, and international regulations, customs, and practices

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, or International Relations

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working in a government or defense-related organization

  • Possession of strong organizational and project management skills

  • Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
