As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in New Haven, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure and welcoming environment within a dynamic technology and media-related location. Your responsibilities will include routine patrols of assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
• Document and report any incidents, suspicious activities, or hazards observed during patrols.
• Assist with access control procedures and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed in support of security-related operations.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment, reporting any unusual conditions or concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
