As a Security Guard - Patient Care Patrol in Yonkers, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing support during emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual situations.
• Monitor access points and help to manage authorized entry into restricted areas, following location-specific protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately and promptly as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with location staff and emergency responders during incidents or critical events.
• Offer assistance and directions to patients, visitors, and employees to enhance the overall experience within the healthcare setting.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any security-related hazards or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
