Purpose:  The purpose of the Systems Quality Engineer position is to: Manage/administer changes to the TechOps primary software system (Maintenix) and related interfaces / software and to support changes to the associated business processes. 
  
 Perform Maintenix Administrator FunctionsCreating User accounts in Maintenix and PRIME (legacy system) for new employees/contractors. Lock / Deactivate user accounts for terminated employees/contractors. Edit existing Roles and Permissions within the software.Gather requirements from Maintenix users for changes to software and potential bugs.Writing report specifications, escalating perceived software problems to Software vendor, testing provided solutions, communicating changes, liaison with ATSG IT.Troubleshoot problems raised and communicate analysis. Recommend solutions.Assist users with learning New software (Interfaces) as needed. Answering questions.Monitor data quality to identify and communicate user entry errors and correct entry procedures.Assist with data clean-up projects as they arise.Test upgrades (patches and service packs)Participate in the ATSG Maintenix Council with sister companies using the Maintenix software.Coordinate solutions with expert users to improve processes and software.Assist with software and processes for Tablet usage by flight crews and maintenance (EFB, Electronic Log Book, electronic signature, digital workpacks and job cards).
 Additional duties for this position are to support and coordinate major IT projects and initiatives with company personnel and outside agencies/vendors. This would include use of technology for both aviation and non-aviation (business related) to identify and manage project implementation. Ensure primary software systems meet new and existing business requirements/needs by providing oversight to systemsJob Functions: 
  
 Troubleshoot reported problems and bugs to the Tech Ops primary Software. design, report, implement and test solutions for the software.Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate processes through methodical testing.Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the applicable software life cycle (U patches & service packs)Perform Administrative Functions for the legacy and primary softwareImplement improvements in process's, interfaces and software by collaborating with SME's, analysts, and developers. Which includes Leading and participating in requirements gathering, analyzing, testing sessions, and coordinating solution implementationsDevelop and monitor program/process changes related to company software systems and their interfaces with the Tech Ops primary software.Perform other duties as assigned
 Position Requirements: 
  
 Associates degree & 3 years related experience or High School Diploma & 10 years related experienceMust complete a pre-employment drug screen and a background checkStrong Communication SkillsTechnical writing ability for clear and concise instructionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsCapable of working independentlyExcellent computer skills. Proficient with the following programs: Microsoft office products, Mobile IT Software, Apple IOS
 Preferred Job Skills: 
  
 Willing to travel nationally and internationally, Valid passport or the ability to obtain oneAdvanced software certifications or continued education in IT systems.Commercial Airlines experienceExperience with Maintenix, IDMR, LIDO, Ops ++
