| Title: Software Engineer with Top Secret/SCI Clearance 
 Location: El Segundo/Seal Beach, CA 90245
 
 Duration: 12 Months with Possible Extension Shift Schedule: 9:00 am-3:00 pm

 Pay Rate: $74/hr. W2 Note: This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

 The selected candidate will perform full stack development using the AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience working across the tech stack with a solid understanding of software architecture, infrastructure tooling, and engineering fundamentals. The candidate will collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders to design and implement scalable software solutions, ensure engineering excellence, and achieve program objectives.
 
 Role & Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 Leads the development, test, and maintenance of [web] applications that meet industry, customer, safety, and regulation standardsLeads the review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into initial design of software productsCoordinates the development, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of software products and functionalities for systems integrationsLeads activities to develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software productsParticipates in the agile software development lifecycle including planning, reviews, and supporting customer meetingsDebugs and leads resolution of issues identified to ensure reliability and efficiency of software productsLeads handling of user inquiries, troubleshooting of technical issues, and user feedback analysisLeads research and implementation of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software developmentLeads development, establishment, monitoring, and improvement of software processes, tools, and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarksLeads execution and documentation of software research and development projectsConsults on software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulationsLeads software project management activities and software supplier management functionsLeads tracking and evaluation of software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process compliance to project plans and industry standards.
 Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
 
 
 
 3+ years of experience with JavaScript and/or Typescript3+ years of experience in PythonExperience with software architecture principles and design patternsExperience with software development using agile principles and a structured development processBachelors degree within STEM field
 Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
 
 
 
 7+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceBachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer scienceExperience leading an agile software development teamExperience with relational databasesExperience with React, Django, Flask, and FastAPIExperience with Infrastructure Tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines)Experience with building out regression test suites
 Education/experience:
 
 
 
 Typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
