Your Role on Our Team:

The Engineering Technician will support Regulatory Engineers by completing regulatory standard testing, verifying that our tools meet industry standards.

You will assist in the maintenance of lab equipment and operating procedures.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform regulatory compliance testing on tools, batteries, and other products
  • Employ a variety of electrical test equipment, mechanical test equipment, and test procedures
  • Interpret regulatory tests using regulatory standards, test datasheets, and other operational documents
  • Record, analyze, and report test results
  • Create, modify, and maintain test setups and fixtures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Technical Associate's Degree or equivalent technical experience
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Some experience with electrical and mechanical fabrication
  • Familiar with electronic and mechanical test equipment, including but not limited to: DMMs, DAQs, oscilloscopes, current clamps, torque wrenches, and mechanical probes
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to instrument, disassemble, and reassemble tools and test samples
  • Excellent organization & communication skills

Working Conditions:

  • Sometimes exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels
  • Occasionally exposed to hazardous equipment.
  • Ability to carry and/or lift up to 50 pounds several times a day
