Position Title: Packaging
Wage: $17.08 per hour Shift: 2nd, 3rd QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Packaging role in Centerville, IA. This is a 2nd and 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Packaging Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Visually inspect bottles for defects and package per specifications - Observe machine for problems, pull buzzer to alert proper personnel of issue - Assemble cardboard cartons and trays - Place bottles on cardboard cartons and trays and verify the bottles are correct with the job order - Operate forklift if certified - Flamer job: bottles occasionally catch fire; remove with tongs and place in bucket of water, alert technician - Follow all safety procedures - Keep work area clean and separate scrap and trash, place in proper bins Packaging Requirements: - Must be able to stand entire 8-12-hour shift - Must be able to lift/move up to 20 pounds 95% of time, and up to 40 pounds occasionally - Must be able to differentiate colors - Previous injection blow molding experience preferred - Must have great hand/eye coordination fairfield@qpsemployment.com IND069 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
