Who we are looking for:  We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst - IT to be based out of Mokena, IL. Reporting to Senior Manager, IT Finance System. The Senior Business Analyst - IT will work with the business process owners and users to define the business processes and requirements to implement the J.D. Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning system (JDE ERP) and support integration between various applications. Responsible for the company's JDE Financial Management functionality, service, and support. Work closely with all ERP user groups across the company, including Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Customer Service, Production, Order Management, Warehousing, and Distribution. What you'll do:  
  
 Initiate and lead ERP-related projects and enhancements in Financial Management, including Address Book, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Flex Accounting, Distribution & Manufacturing Automatic Accounting Instructions (DMAAIs/AAIs), and Interfaces.Understand company business practices and procedures to design, develop and maintain automated workflow processes. Work with ERP system users and management across the organization to determine appropriate system configuration and setup.Conduct in-depth tests for modified and new systems or applications. Create technical documentation for applications developed. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve ERP system issues reported by end users.Provide day-today support to ERP users. Maintain current knowledge and understanding of ERP applications and computer hardware operating systems.Perform in-depth data analysis, develop and maintain detailed financial reports using SQL/ Reporting tools, and offer critical assistance during month-end and year-end closings, ensuring precise and timely financial reporting to support informed business decisions.Implement and configure Oracle's annual 1099 ESU updates for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, ensuring compliance with U.S. federal tax reporting requirements, and provide technical support for end-to- end 1099 year-end processes, including data validation, form generation, and electronic filing.Participate in internal business and process improvement events, support customer process improvement events, support customer initiatives and operations activities, and attend customer Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reviews and meetings as requested.
 What you'll bring:  
  
 Requires at least a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or related.Must possess 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience with all the following:
 
    
 participating in meetings with stakeholders to understand project requirements, scope, and timelines related to JDE enterprise resource planning (ERP) software;implementing General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, and Fixed Assets modules in JDE software;creating finance versions and menus in JDE Object Management Workbench;adding Distribution & Manufacturing Automatic Accounting Instructions (DMAAIs/AAIs) and Flex Accounting set ups in JDE;performing item branch and cost data validations;completing Accounts Payable, Account Receivables and Fixed Assets conversions from other ERP systems to JDE;Implementing and maintaining integrations between JDE and other applications;Customizing JDE ERP software as per business requirements;preparing end to end test cases ;performing tests in the test environments and addressing any issues identified;performing user acceptance testing (UAT), user trainings, production environment set up; andproviding post-implementation hypercare including monitoring day-to-day activities in JDE.  Within 3 months, you'll:  
  
 Complete your new hire "Immersion" so that you are ready to rock in your new role.Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.Be well-versed in Atkore's Financial Management processes as well as business and IT solutions.Be able to provide limited customer support for production down and continuous improvement activities.
 Within 6 months, you'll:  
  
 Have started to become a subject matter expert for Atkore-specific business processes and IT solutions.Be a competent problem-solver and providing full production support with limited assistance.Be able to make recommendations regarding business processes and IT solutions.Lead enhancements in Financial Management, including Address Book, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Flex Accounting, DMAAIs/AAIs, Interfaces
 Within 12 months, you'll:  
  
 Support Atkore's JDE Financial Managements portfolio.Be able to strategically identify needed improvements, changes, and modifications and turn those ideas into action.Translate Atkore's business strategy into needed IT capabilities for Financial Management.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $109,360 - $150,370 Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
