We are seeking a Segment Development Director - CV2X to lead the market-facing strategy and execution for Iteris' BlueArgus CV and V2X solutions. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on market strategy and growth, blending solutions engineering, business development, and sales leadership. You will serve as the face of Iteris in Connected Vehicle adoption in the U.S., driving awareness, building pipeline, and equipping our sales and partner ecosystem for success. As part of a collaborative culture that values innovation, customer success, and thought leadership, you will help shape the future of how agencies, transit operators, and emergency responders deploy CV2X technologies to improve roadway safety and mobility.



What you will be doing:




  • Act as a visible industry leader through public speaking, conference participation, and customer workshops
  • Position Iteris as the trusted provider of integrated Connected Vehicle and V2X solutions
  • Build top-of-funnel opportunities with public sector agencies, transit operators, police, and emergency response organizations
  • Lead strategic conversations with executive decision makers and support the sales cycle from early engagement to RFP
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to sales leaders and partners, helping them position and sell Iteris' Connected Vehicle platform
  • Collaborate closely with Solutions Engineering to deliver impactful demonstrations, proposals, and executive briefings
  • Translate customer and partner feedback into product and GTM strategies
  • Represent Iteris CV2X solutions as an integrated platform solution across a range of market segments
  • Travel up to 50%



What you need to be successful in this role:




  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Transportation, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Seven to ten (7-10) years of experience in the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) industry
  • Proven track record in Connected Vehicle (CV) or V2X solutions, with both technical and sales performance
  • Strong background in business development, solution pitching, and executive-level engagement
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills with a history of thought leadership in industry forums
  • Experience working with public sector agencies and familiarity with procurement/RFP processes



Iteris anticipates paying a base salary between $155,000 and $175,000 for this role, in addition to quarterly commissions. Actual pay offered may be below or above these amounts, depending on the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
