Growth Coordinator

LOCATION: On Site (McLean, VA) (minimum 3 days per week)

Position Overview: The Growth Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the business development lifecycle by conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities, supporting proposal operations and performing tactical functions department-wide. This position reports to the Director of Proposal Operations and operates as a "utility infielder" to support a wide variety of Business Development Operation's and Proposal Operation's needs. The Growth Coordinator receives tasking from a variety of resources across the department, and the tasking is tracked in a centralized portal used by the entire team.

Job Duties:



  • Business Development Coordination:

    • Market Research:

      • Conduct market and industry research.
      • Review portals daily to identify pre- and post-RFP opportunities from federal agencies.
      • Provide Opt-in and basic RFI responses for qualified opportunities.


    • Data Management:

      • Enter and keep current data in the pipeline tracking tool.
      • Perform regular reviews of pipeline data to ensure high quality and integrity.
      • Maintain and update opportunity libraries and tracking databases.


    • Opportunity Reporting:

      • Create opportunity snapshot reports. Training will be provided.
      • Create highly detailed reports with accurate data.
      • Keep the team current on all amendments and modifications to solicitations.
      • Updates a variety of opportunity specific reporting such as capture plans, gate reviews, etc.


    • Performs assigned customer and teaming partner research functions, as requested.


  • Proposal Operations Coordinator Support:

    • Performs proposal coordination activities upon request from functional Proposal Managers.
    • Performs desktop publishing activities on a variety of documents, often with a compressed schedule.
    • Constructs Key Personnel resumes that are compelling and fully compliant with solicitation requirements, using templates approved by the Proposal Manager.
    • Performs proposal compliance reviews.
    • Gains the ability to prepare responses to government-issued requests for information, sources sought, market research, etc.


  • Past Performance Support:

    • Develops proficiency at documenting corporate experience and past performance for LinTech and our parent company, Dexian, for proposal responses.
    • Proactively maintains our library of experience and past performance information by adding new information gained from specific proposal projects.


  • Outreach:

    • Perform outreach for sole source campaigns and track/manage leads in a centralized reporting tool.
    • Communicate with potential teaming partners, competitors, customers, and incumbent personnel.


  • Collaboration:

    • Attend proposal team stand-up meetings to provide updates on progress, impediments, and accomplishments.
    • Partner with the entire Growth team to contribute to the department's overall success.
    • Use OneDrive/Teams/SharePoint collaborative platform to work on all content (no local files are permitted in our department).


  • Task Management:

    • Proactively work to accomplish tasks quickly.
    • Maintain flexibility when tasks, report templates, or priorities need to shift based on business needs and direction from the leadership team.
    • Follow all tasks to completion to ensure nothing "falls through the cracks."
    • Take on additional assignments as needed.
    • Be highly responsive to new tasks as assigned.
    • Proactively communicate needs and issues ahead of deadlines.


  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Willingness to engage with third parties (e.g., companies, customers, personnel) for outreach.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours for RFP pursuits.


Required Technology Skills:



  • Proficient with Internet search, Adobe Reader, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Ability to become quickly proficient in using government acquisition and reporting portals (e.g., sam.gov, fpds.gov, GovWin IQ, GovTribe, eBuy, eOffer, eGOS, GSA ASSIST, Army Chess, FedConnect, PIEE, Salesforce, etc).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience working with teams in a way that enhances our team's morale and our company's success in winning government contracts.
