| Description Reporting to the CFO, the Corporate Controller is responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial information and provides leadership to the accounting team. The Controller works closely with the CFO and executive management to support strategic financial decisions, operational efficiency, and business growth.

 Primary and Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Serves as financial counselor and business advisor to the CEO, CFO, and other key leaders, with the objective of achieving corporate goalsManages the monthly accounting close and reporting process, working to continuously improve data quality and cycle timeResponsible for accurate and timely financial reporting, including internal and external reporting (annual financial statements and quarterly reporting to the Bank Group)Develops the Quarterly Report required under the credit agreementAnalyzes, interprets and follows-up regarding the results of operation and financial positionEnsures all financial reporting and accounting policies are in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles, and through CAS complianceResponsible for improving the visibility and integrity of the financial information and maintenance of internal accounting control systems. Specifically, the Corporate Controller is responsible for maintaining OneStream Financial Management, which is the key financial ERP system for the company, as well as managing the interface from SAP to HFMHandles complex accounting transactions such as revenue recognition, inventory costing/valuation, restructuring, Goodwill and Intangible Asset Accounting, Stock Option Accounting, tax accounting (working with the Tax Director) and other similar areas, including working with independent appraisal firmsCoordinates and manages all external audits and is a key liaison with the audit manager and partnerManages the financial impact of the acquisition and restructuring efforts of the company's facilities. Serves as a key member of all due diligence teams related to AcquisitionsBreaks down barriers to change and motivate operations to implement process improvements. This involves effectively working cross-functionally with all functions in the business flowAssists the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, with respect to the completion of annual operating plans and strategic plansRecommends, reviews and provides input for the formulation of or changes to the Corporate Policies and ProceduresProvides and analyzes information requested by top Senior ManagementSupports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organizationAdheres to all quality and safety standardsSupports other projects and performs duties as assigned

 10-15 years of related accounting, finance or equivalent experience; prior work experience in a manufacturing environment, prior experience with Government//Defense Contractor a plus
 
  
  Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required; Masters Degree in Business preferred, CPA required
