 SUMMARY: BCF Solutions is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Systems Engineer with an extensive background in U.S. government contracting and international project execution. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience designing, integrating, and sustaining advanced Electronic Security Systems (ESS) for federal and DoD installations, both domestic and overseas.
 
 This role requires proven expertise in 
Honeywell Vindicator technologies, as well as hands-on experience delivering compliant, mission-critical security solutions in complex, multi-national environments.
 
 The engineer will serve as a technical leader in the design, integration, and certification of access control, intrusion detection, and video management systems for U.S. embassies, bases, and critical facilities worldwide.

 Design, engineer, and implement Electronic Security Systems (ESS), including access control, intrusion detection, perimeter defense, and video surveillance systems in accordance with U.S. government standards.Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Honeywell Vindicator Command & Control (C2), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and Access Control System (ACS).Develop detailed engineering and design documentation, including system layouts, drawings, schematics, equipment lists, test plans and procedures, assembly procedures, and installation instructions for electronic security systems wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications that comply with government requirements.Lead or support international deployments - including design validation, installation oversight, and commissioning of systems for OCONUS government facilities.Ensure all overseas implementations meet both U.S. federal security and host-nation regulatory standards.Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and system acceptance testing at CONUS and OCONUS project sites.Collaborate closely with project management, logistics, and in-country teams to ensure delivery within cost, schedule, and performance objectives.Maintain cybersecurity and information assurance compliance per NIST SP 800-171, DFARS 252.204-7012, and CMMC requirements.Provide technical input for proposals, cost estimates, and international project bids.System administration experience to perform triage on system problems, resolve the system problems, analyze system data to prevent problems, and implement new workstations and system extensionsTrain and mentor junior engineers and field technicians in secure system design, testing, and sustainment.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
 
 
 
 Bachelor's degree in EngineeringMinimum of 10 years of experience in Electronic Security System (ESS) design and integration for U.S. government or defense programs.Demonstrated international project experience involving overseas DoD, DOS, or allied government security installations.Vindicator Certification (required) with demonstrated hands-on experience configuring and commissioning Vindicator Command & Control systems.Familiarity with DoD, and preferably DHS and DOS design and security criteriaExperience in networked and IP-based security systems, structured cabling, and integrated command platforms.Strong understanding of U.S. federal contracting environments and technical documentation for government deliverables.Prior experience supporting overseas construction (OCONUS) projects or U.S. military installations abroad strongly preferredStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network layers.Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration abilities.Strong knowledge of secure communications, encryption, and cybersecurity practices.
