Summary:
The Supervisor - Senior Clinical Exercise Physiologist leads and evaluates the performance of the multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality care through evidence-based clinical practice and programming improvements. This role oversees exercise programs for special populations, develops individualized exercise prescriptions, and supports the administrative operations of the program. It also fosters team collaboration and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes and program effectiveness

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in clinical Exercise Physiology or related field required. Master's degree in related field preferred.

  2. License/Certifications: Certified as a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehab (AACVPR) Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional (CCRP) preferred.
  3. Experience: A minimum of 3 - 5 years of clinical experience required. Supervisory experience preferred.

  4. Knowledge of physical, medical, and behavioral sciences applicable to cardiac rehabilitation at an advanced level.

  5. A high level of proficiency in the delivery of clinical services across multiple populations and a comprehensive understanding of all divisional policies and procedures.

  6. Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills to provide effective supervision and to interact effectively with a wide variety of staff, patients, and colleagues.

  7. Ability to adapt to continuous changes in schedules, requests, and patient needs
