Key Accountabilities Reporting to the Corporate HR Director, the Manager of HR (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with HR strategy for employees and management in designated functional areas. This individual will be accountable for building impactful partnerships across the business to deliver value-added service and support organization-wide initiatives. This role is onsite 4 days a week in office in Los Angeles. Responsibilities
- Partner with functional leaders on performance related issues and employee relations.
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Partner with Learning and Development on the training programs in areas of career mobility and job performance.
- Provide effective and engaging training to constituents on a variety of HR related topics.
- Manage internal onboarding and off-boarding process and create excellent employee experience.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employment law, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Support leadership with organizational design and organizational effectiveness.
- Support with developing people strategies and design approach for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Act as a change agent for future growth and development.
- Act as contributing partner and colleague to HR Centers of Excellence including Total Rewards, Talent Development, Operations HR and Shared Services Team.
- Participate and support all Corporate HR initiatives.
- Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with business partners to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Analyze and interpret various types of reports to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions.
- Contribute as project leader or contributor on various department and business initiatives
- Collaborate with functional teams to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 5 years of business or HR experience.
- Experience working with corporate populations, including executive teams required.
- Knowledge of employment regulations and administrative requirements, excellent knowledge in employment law required.
- Demonstrated excellence in communications, problem solving skills and process improvement.
- Ability to use independent and sound judgement to solve people and organizational issues.
- Demonstrated ability to stay positive and motivated in a growing, challenging and changing environment.
- Strong coaching skills with a track record of quickly gaining credibility and partnering collaboratively with business leaders.
- Proven track record of successful partnership with supporting a remote population.
- Ability to interface and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Team-player who thrives in fast paced, dynamic environment.
