As a Specialist, HR-AARC, you're a frontline resource in our HR Call Center, delivering Level-1 support to 4,000+ associates on payroll, benefits, policies, and Dayforce access. You also support onboarding through candidate outreach and coordination with HR Analysts. This role demands strong customer service, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure a smooth employee experience.

Responsibilities:

1. AARC HR Call Center Support (Level 1):



  • Respond to inbound calls in a queue environment, addressing associate inquiries related to payroll, benefits, HR policies, and system access.
  • Perform Dayforce password resets and basic troubleshooting.
  • Escalate complex issues to HR Analysts, Benefits team, or HRBPs as appropriate.


2. Onboarding Support & Candidate Outreach:



  • Make outbound calls to candidates to confirm completion of pre-employment steps (drug screen, background check, I-9 initiation).
  • Assist in virtual onboarding events and coordinate with local bakery HR teams.
  • Support post-hire verification and audit tasks in partnership with HR Analysts.
  • Monitor onboarding progress in SuccessFactors and HireRight systems.


3. HR Administrative Support:



  • Assist in creating and updating SOPs for call center and onboarding processes.
  • Generate and distribute employee letters (e.g., wage adjustments, retention letters) under guidance from HR Analysts.
  • Perform basic updates in HRIS systems (e.g., job titles, org sites).


4. Compliance & Policy Awareness:



  • Stay informed of HR policy changes and benefit updates to ensure accurate communication to associates.
  • Support HR Analysts in ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal procedures.


5. Collaboration & Development:



  • Participate in team meetings, 1:1s, and HR town halls.
  • Maintain a personal development plan focused on HR knowledge and call center excellence.
  • Build strong working relationships with HRBPs, Analysts, and other stakeholders.



Qualifications and Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in HR, customer service, or call center environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual Spanish required.
  • Proficiency in MS-Excel is required, including experience with formulas, pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, Payroll & Onboarding systems (SuccessFactors, Dayforce, HireRight) preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to employee support.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.



Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $27.96

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed In this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
