No Beginning Review Date: 11/28/2025 About JMU: Mission General Information: The Department of Graduate Psychology in the College of Health and Behavioral Studies (CHBS) at James Madison University is seeking a neuropsychologist to join our collegial and collaborative faculty in August, 2026. This 10-month tenure track faculty position will be filled at the assistant rank, with salary commensurate with experience. Candidates should demonstrate promise in teaching and scholarship, with interest in potential grant development. We are especially interested in an individual who makes neuroscience and neuropsychology findings accessible across disciplines, professionals, and clinical populations. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include teaching within the department, advising and supervision of graduate students, research productivity, and service at the department, college, and university levels. We seek a candidate who presents evidence of: Qualifications: The successful applicant will possess a doctorate from an APA-accredited program in Clinical, Counseling, School, or Combined-Integrated Psychology, formal training in neuropsychology during internship or post-doctoral training and/or certification by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), and licensure in Virginia or license-eligible with ability to obtain licensure in Virginia by the start date. Clinical experience across the lifespan, particularly with children and adolescents, is desired.
