This role supports a wide range of IT functions, including desktop/laptop deployment, telecommunications, network infrastructure, asset management, software distribution, scripting, and reporting. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to provide hands-on technical expertise and contribute to key projects that impact our business and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Device Deployment: Configure, test, package, and deploy desktops and laptops for employees. Install operating systems, applications, and drivers; create and maintain deployment images.

• Telecom Support: Provide technical assistance for phones, softphones, headsets, video conferencing tools, and related peripherals. Troubleshoot connectivity issues and resolve telecom-related problems.

• Network Infrastructure: Assist with MACD (moves, adds, changes, deletes) of network devices including switches, routers, cabling, and wireless access points. Perform cable testing and locate network drops.

• Asset Management: Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets including hardware, software, and licenses. Conduct audits and support disposal processes for decommissioned equipment.

• Software Distribution: Deploy software packages using enterprise tools like SCCM. Create and manage application catalogs for streamlined distribution.

• Scripting & Automation: Develop and execute scripts (PowerShell, Batch, VBScript, etc.) to automate routine administrative tasks and improve efficiency.

• Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports on IT infrastructure performance. Use reporting tools to identify trends and present actionable insights to management.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments across the organization to support projects and deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience in IT operations accepted.

• Strong knowledge of personal computing, networking, and telecommunications hardware/software.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with enterprise IT tools.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Understanding of ITIL process methodology.

• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
