As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Tech/Media in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain strong communication throughout your shift. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining clear communication with site staff and Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
• Document and report any observed security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to direct visitors or employees as needed.
• Support the security-related needs of clients and guests in a tech-focused environment, adapting to changing conditions as required by the site.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions and briefings to stay updated on site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
