As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a retail environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or property damage within the retail environment.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and/or emergency responders as necessary.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
