The Coordinator, Donor and Volunteer Engagement at Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation (Foundation) plays a vital role in supporting the operations and engagement opportunities for Volunteer Fundraising Councils, provides essential administrative assistance the Donor Relations department and serves as a key partner in coordinating impactful donor tours for annual and major gift donors, ensuring a meaningful experience that strengthens donor and volunteer relationships. With a focus on collaboration, organization, and attention to detail, the coordinator helps drive successful fundraising initiatives and fosters a culture of gratitude and connection among volunteers and donors. This position reports to the Vice President, Donor and Volunteer Engagement.

Duties & Responsibilities

Administrative and Event Support for Volunteer Fundraising Councils (VFCs)
*Administrative and Event Support for Volunteer Fundraising Councils (VFCs) * Provide administrative and event planning support for current (and future) VFCs, currently the 2221 Society including its Executive Committee, Champions of Philanthropy, Legacy Planning Advisory Council and Corporate Leadership Council
*Administrative support for scheduling, coordinating, prepping presenters and preparing materials for VFC meetings and events
*Maintain VFC rosters, meeting and event attendance in Blackbaud CRM
*Schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparation of agendas, documents, presentations, and hosts Zoom meeting (if virtual) and sets up meeting rooms (if in person), booking venues, ordering refreshments and within budget, meet and escort vendors
*Prepares meeting notices, minutes, and distributes minutes along with post-meeting follow-up
*Help coordinate additional activities and events.
*In partnership with Board Liaison, track pledges and revenue, provide reports on progress to goal
*Prepare Volunteer Fundraising Committee Reports for Foundation Board of Trustees

Coordinates logistics for donors and prospect tours and meetings
*Liaison with Hospital Partnership and Strategic Philanthropy colleagues and portfolio managers to plan and build meaningful donor/prospect experiences including tours and meetings.
*Responsible for on-site execution of donor experiences including but not limited to co-hosting tour/meeting with portfolio managers, etc.
*Track tours and meetings including participants in Blackbaud CRM

Administrative support for Donor Relations Department
*Provide administrative support for stewardship and cultivation events including the creation and maintenance of event records and recording RSVPs in Blackbaud CRM, printing nametags and event prep materials, ordering supplies, meet and escort vendors on event days
*Assist with mailing and tracking (in CRM) of completed gift acknowledgements
*Assist in recording of confirmed donor recognition in Blackbaud CRM
*Assist in preparation of donor recognition review
*Provide support of impact report distribution and execution of global updates in CRM
*Assist with the creation and installation of physical donor signage

Special Projects and Foundation engagement
*Act as an ambassador for the Foundation in diverse settings, embodying professionalism, and unwavering enthusiasm for the mission of Children's Colorado.
*Collaborate seamlessly and harmoniously across multiple Business Units within the Foundation, fostering a constructive, team-oriented approach
*Provide support for projects as delegated by the VP, Donor and Volunteer Engagement

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degrees
    • AA/AS degree or at least 2 additional years of direct work experience (including two year of minimum work experience) for a total of 4 years related work experience, if no AA/AS degree.

  • Experience

Two or more years in work related experience, including progressively increasing responsibilities in administrative support jobs. The Coordinator, Donor and Volunteer Engagement will apply the following skills and abilities to this job:

*Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
*Experience with customer relationship management database
*Accurately and efficiently type and complete data entry with little to no error

*Able to drive/and to meet with prospects and donors as needed.
*Ability to organize and prioritize tasks through self-motivation and create a productive work environment with quality deliverables

*Willingness to take initiative, keep positive attitude, and maintain a professional demeanor

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Range: $24.04 to $30.29
