About the Role:

As a consultant - project coordinator in the Quality Systems Transformation practice area, you will strategically support the Social Adult Day Care program and the New York State Department of Health by supporting programmatic initiatives for our clients, partners, and stakeholders primarily through applying coordination, project management, and critical thinking skills.

Serving as a project coordinator, your day-to-day role as a NYSTEC consultant will include working closely with the project team to ensure that key project milestones are achieved in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities

  • Creating key project documentation.
  • Planning and scheduling meetings.
  • Updating presentation material.
  • Capturing meeting minutes.
  • Organizing action items, risks and issues.
  • Tracking project timelines.


About you:
Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a project coordinator, project manager, administrative assistant, scheduler, or similar.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and to understand their needs through excellent listening and effective written and verbal communication.


Preferred/Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of project management best practices.
  • Experience working on healthcare projects.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or related discipline with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and professional experience will be considered.
