Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, including armed patrol as required by site protocols.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious activities or persons to appropriate authorities and/or supervisors.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activities within the location.
• Document incidents and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
• Work collaboratively with law enforcement and/or other emergency services when necessary.
• Follow all protocols regarding the handling and use of firearms and related equipment, maintaining compliance with regulatory and site-specific standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Must have a college degree.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must have at least two years of experience in law enforcement, military, or corrections.
• Must possess a corrections officer license.
• Must provide proof of one of the following: DD214 with honorable discharge, associate degree or 60 college credits, police academy certificate, or corrections academy certificate.
• Must possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
