Automatic Screw Machine Operator Shift: 1st, (7am-3pm) Pay: $23-$25/hr (Based on Experience) We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automatic Screw Machine Operator to join our production team on the first shift. We are a precision machining company known for our commitment to quality, safety, and craftsmanship. If you have experience operating or setting up Brown & Sharpe or similar single-spindle automatic screw machines, we want to hear from you. Job Description: Set up and operate Brown & Sharpe or comparable automatic screw machines. Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions to determine machine setup and operation requirements. Install and adjust collets, bushings, stock pushers, cams, and gears. Set feed rates, cutting speeds, and tool positions for efficient machining operations. Inspect parts during production to ensure conformance to specifications using micrometers, calipers, and comparators. Replace or sharpen worn tools as needed. Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on machines. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all ISO and safety guidelines. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Proven experience operating or setting up automatic screw machines. Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
