We are seeking a Logistics & Service Manager for our County Materials- Pipe & Precast Division located in Milwaukee, WI. The Logistics & Service Manager oversees the dispatch, delivery, and customer service functions supporting the production and distribution of precast concrete structures and pipe products. This role ensures efficient scheduling, safe transportation, and on-time delivery to construction sites while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a proven leader in logistics or dispatch management within the heavy construction materials industry, with strong operational knowledge of precast concrete delivery and a passion for developing high-performing teams. Job Duties: Logistics Management
- Lead those who plan, coordinate, and oversee the daily dispatch of precast concrete products, including concrete pipe, box culverts, and custom structures.
- Manage fleet operations, including company trucks & contracted haulers.
- Ensure efficient delivery routes and schedules are optimized, load utilization and minimizing downtime.
- Oversee the coordination between dispatch and production to align delivery schedules with manufacturing output.
- Add processes and metrics to measure dispatch to loader communication, ensuring timeliness
- Work with production and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and coordinate warehouse transfers
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery accuracy, truck utilization, on-time performance, and customer satisfaction.
Customer Service & Field Support Management
- Team with Operations Managers to address customer concerns and assist in coordination of remedies.
- Provide training and support to the dispatch team with the skills and resources needed to effectively resolve customer concerns.
Inside Sales Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead, mentor, and support Inside Sales Representatives to ensure accurate order entry, prompt customer communication, and seamless coordination with production.
- Foster a balance between customer-first culture and company-first culture within the inside sales and dispatch teams to ensure consistent, professional experience for all customers.
- Oversee quoting and order management processes to ensure pricing accuracy, product availability, and adherence to company policies.
- Monitor inside sales performance metrics, providing coaching and feedback to drive efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.
- Work with sales and operations leadership to develop tools, training, and workflows that improve order management and customer satisfaction.
Work Environment: This position operates in both office and plant settings, with occasional exposure to loud noise and outdoor weather conditions. Hearing protection may be required at times. Physical Requirements:

Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of job-related experience in logistics, dispatch, or service management- preferably in precast concrete or heavy construction materials.
- Understanding of DOT regulations, load security, and handling of oversized precast products.
- Proven experience managing fleet operations and coordinating deliveries to active construction sites.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings for delivery of coordination.
- Microsoft Office Suite of Products experience including Share Point and Teams.
- Proficient in ERP or dispatch software.
