We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service. We are seeking a Controller for County Materialsat Brookfield, WI. Job Duties:
- Deep understanding of GAAP/IRS, cost accounting, and financial reporting, delivering timely, precise, and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Meets deadlines in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Manage audit support and relationships with internal and external auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
- Develop and manage budgets, rolling) forecasts, and variance analysis to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrate precision in reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Manage liquidity, cash flow, forecasting, working capital, and capital expenditures, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Oversee compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations, including coordinating tax filings and planning strategies.
- Identification and mitigation of financial and operational risks.
- Ability to design, implement, and monitor financial systems, processes, internal control systems, and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability with high proficiency in ERP systems, BI, financial analysis, dashboards, and consolidation tools and software.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives, ensuring accurate reporting and accounting processes and translating financial data into insights to non-financial stakeholders for decision making.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust controls, accounting policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance, and mitigate risk.

Experience & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and tax based accounting, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Proven experience managing audits, tax compliance, and financial controls.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting tools; strong Excel skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, desktop and 365 versions.
