Summary

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. This position provides Human Resources guidance in areas related to policies, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, communications and development, The position reports to the Sr. Director of HR.

This position is based in Massachusetts and requires a presence on-site three days per week, and open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

Essential Responsibilities



  • Serves as primary HR point of contact for our business unit with operations in the US and Canada
  • Administers various human resource programs and procedures for employees; assists in the development and implementation of employee policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies.
  • Provides HR coaching and guidance in employee relations
  • Leads recruitment efforts
  • Assists with new-hire employee orientations and any onboarding programs.
  • Conducts Exit interviews for voluntary terminations.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
  • May respond to initial employee questions as they arise.
  • Performs other duties as required.


Professional Qualifications



  • 5-7 years experience in HR Generalist-related role.
  • Aptitude in problem solving.
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office. Excel: HRIS systems will be a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Strong data analytics and project management experience
  • Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to achieve established deadlines.
  • Desire to work as a team player with a result driven approach.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

The pay range for this position is between $78,000 and $94,900 annually.

Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Employees in this position are eligible for a discretionary performance-based cash incentive, and depending on the level of the role may be eligible for a discretionary annual equity award. Benefits for this position include a comprehensive health benefits package that includes medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage. Other offerings include life and disability benefits, pre-tax accounts, a 401(k) with company contribution, and a variety of other benefits.
