The Challenge

We're hiring! The Cloud Acceleration team consists of seasoned specialists in Adobe Content and Commerce who collaborate closely with clients to realize the complete benefits of their Adobe loyalty. Our engagements span technical deep-dives, value adoption assessments, and strategic conversations-always passionate about driving real outcomes.

You'll be part of the Cloud Acceleration team for Content and Commerce, a global pre-sales team that partners with Sales to uncover customer needs, craft solutions, and guide pre-deployment architecture. From scoping and sizing to whiteboarding and occasional demos, we thrive on solving complex problems and delivering measurable impact. We're collaborative, fast-moving, and a little fun-loving-think startup spirit, Adobe scale.

The Role

As a Cloud Acceleration Architect (AEM/Commerce), you will play a vital role in facilitating successful pre-sales discussions and guaranteeing post-sale provisioning achievements. You'll recommend pre-deployment configurations, identify architectural and product dependencies, and ensure solutions align with customer-specific use cases, usage volumes, and service levels.

Your work will directly support high-impact deals by contributing to planning, sizing, and configuration. You'll also back strategic and technical dialogues-covering detailed architecture to future-state digital strategy-often with senior customers and executives.

While your primary region will be the America's. Over time, this pre-sale's role offers ample opportunity to evolve into specialized solution consulting, architecture, or customer leadership roles.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Commerce/AEM - focused solution conversations with enterprise customers
  • Develop pre-deployment sizing and architecture plans aligned to use cases
  • Help retain customers through optimizing their infrastructure and exposing new solutions to them
  • Drive deep technical and executive-level presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Provisioning, Product, CSM) to build scalable, high-impact solutions
  • Educate customers on integrations, APIs, and extensibility options
  • Help customers realize and expand their Adobe investment
  • Contribute to internal standard processes and cross-functional learning

Your Impact

As a Cloud Acceleration Specialist, you'll help shape how Adobe customers onboard and grow within Experience Cloud. Your recommendations and technical insights will influence both short-term outcomes and long-term success. You will serve as a trusted advisor to Adobe's high-value customers and an internal agent of change for how we improve our services.

You'll also have significant exposure across Adobe's organization, collaborating with teams in Sales, Marketing, Product, and Professional Services-gaining knowledge and relationships that accelerate your career trajectory.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales engineering, Cloud architecture, or technical discovery
  • Strong communication and presentation skills-comfortable with both business and technical audiences
  • Pre-sales experience in digital marketing, content management, and commerce solutions
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Commerce or similar platforms is advantageous
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, New Relic, Fastly (or similar cloud/CDN/DevOps stacks)
  • HTML, JavaScript, CSS skills, and knowledgeable about GraphQL, React, or Angular
  • Experience with headless CMS concepts, microservices, APIs, and front-end frameworks
  • AWS or Azure Architect certification is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% (actual may be less)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $170,300 -- $280,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
