Langley Federal Credit Union is currently hiring for a Full Time Business Analyst to work a Hybrid schedule from our City Center building, located in Newport News, VA.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:



  • Conducts research and analysis to troubleshoot system problems and coordinates their resolution.
  • Evaluates progress and recommends process improvements, offering solutions.
  • Consults with internal customers on system inputs, processes, and outputs.
  • Develops business user requirements, system documentation, and change management plans.
  • Administers selected software applications, including user administration and installation.
  • Acts as a liaison between business units and IT, serving as an escalation point.
  • Provides expert support for selected applications and coordinates with vendors and internal resources.
  • Specifies test procedures for new software applications, prepares test data, and analyzes outcomes.
  • Coordinates Disaster Recovery testing for selected applications.
  • Participates in and leads projects for business units and the enterprise.
  • Manages vendor relationships to coordinate software development efforts.
  • Consults with senior management on new software deployment.
  • Assists business units in implementing system functionality to improve operations.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree; 1 to 2years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum three years in a business analyst position or position providing varied analytical data required.
