 Sr Financial Aid Advisor - Concorde Career College To educate, advise, and support students in the appropriate procedures to ensure the completion of all applicable grant, loan, and scholarship applications. Aid students in understanding and interpretation of applicable Federal, State, and Institutional requirements while maintaining a high level of customer service.      Advise prospective students of all funding sources available to students attending Concorde Career College and provide each prospective student an introduction to financial aid during the student's tourAssist students with questions regarding the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Master Promissory Note for the Federal Stafford, Federal Unsubsidized and Federal PLUS loans, Federal SEOG, and Federal Perkins applications utilizing all required Federal and Concorde Career College formsCheck NSLDS for status of prospective student loansConduct entrance interviews and testing and exit interviews and testing as required by Title IV regulation and Concorde Career CollegeComplete re-entry and subsequent packaging accuratelyComplete revisions to funding plans due to failed classes and schedule changesKnow and comply with all applicable Concorde policies/procedures per the College policy and procedure manualKnow and comply with all applicable Federal regulations/procedures per the annual Federal HandbookPerform other duties related to student financial aid packaging efforts as assignedOther duties as assignedQualifications
 
 Education / Experience 
     Associate degree preferredMust not currently be in default on any Federal Student Loans or go into default on any Federal Student Loans while employed.3 years Financial Aid Advisor Experience3 years Title IV administration and mastery of FAA skill setsFamiliar with VA policy and proceduresMust be computer literate with entry level knowledge of Excel and WordKnowledge and ability to run CampusVue operating system preferredMust be detail oriented and be a quick learner of complex processes Standard Abilities
