Job Title: Diesel Mechanic, Road Call
Reports To: Operations Manager
Scope: This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motor coaches and other commercial vehicles.

Pay Range: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour

Individual pay is determined by additional factors including job related skills, experience, applicable education or training and other relevant factors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diesel Mechanic inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains motorcoaches, commercial and non-commercial vehicles and other vehicles
- Diesel Mechanic understands and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures
- Diesel Mechanic compliance with all local, State, and Federal regulations applicable to operations, buildings, grounds, and personnel including EPA, OSHA, and DOT
- Diesel Mechanic specific duties and responsibilities are determined by Individual Service Technician training, certification, knowledge, skill, and experience
- Diesel Mechanic will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Requires good organizational skills to include the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments within expected time frames
- Employee must possess the tools necessary to complete assigned responsibilities
- Experience with Interior Component repair/replacement
- Audio/Video knowledge recommended not required
- Class B CDL with passenger endorsement is a plus
- Satisfactory driving record
Skills:
- Must be a self-starter and possess a positive attitude
- Must have a good attendance
- Must be willing to travel, with possible work on the weekends/overtime
Physical Demands:
- Ability to move items weighing at least 50 pounds
- The person in this position needs to move constantly for extended periods of time (80-100% of shift)
- Ability to work in and outdoors for extended periods of time
