POSITION SPECIFICS Early Career Faculty/Educational Developer JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State's university-wide center for teaching and learning (CTL), the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence (SITE), has an opening for an early career Faculty/Educational Developer. This is a 12-month, continuing, full-time faculty appointment, with the opportunity to advance in rank. SITE faculty work in-person as do other Penn State faculty; this is not a remote or hybrid position. The salary range is $60,000 - $75,000, depending on experience. Penn State is a multi-campus university with over 7,200 full-time faculty and 1,500 part-time instructors who teach nearly 90,000 students at 24 campuses. The Schreyer Institute is based at the University Park campus in State College, PA, but works with instructors at all Penn State campuses. SITE faculty are expected to occasionally travel to other Penn State campuses. SITE also serves a large graduate student population and works closely with academic administrators. Degree Qualification: Minimum degree: MA or MS; PhD or terminal degree preferred. Your degree must be conferred before an offer can be made.
