We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Medical Technologist I/II at varying levels (I, II). The selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications and experience. All levels contribute to patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels.

Primary Responsibilities:
Medical Technologist I:

  • Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Laboratory Supervisor and Manager, the Medical Technologist is responsible for providing efficient and accurate analysis of specimens processed in the clinical laboratory to provide for quality patient care services
  • This position exercises good judgment by using critical thinking skills and deals with issue resolution concerning the day-to-day technical operation of the laboratory

Medical Technologist II:

  • Includes all duties of Medical Technologist I

Required Qualifications (All Levels):

  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or related science
  • 1 + years of clinical laboratory testing or clinical rotations from an accredited institution
  • ASCP eligible
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge and skills to perform procedures in Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Coagulation, and Urinalysis
  • Excellent time management skills- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to efficiently manage lab operations
  • Knowledge of quality control, quality assurance principles and proficiency testing procedures relating to waived testing
  • Knowledge of CAP, and CLIA regulations related to work area
  • Practical knowledge of routine laboratory equipment and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

For Medical Technologist II

  • 4 + years of clinical laboratory testing or clinical rotations from an accredited institution
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related science

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
