About This Role:


The Manager-Finance leads two core functions: 1) enterprise billing operations and 2) usage assurance.



  • Enterprise billing operations: Ensure invoices are produced accurately and within SLA; lead Senior Analysts who validate revenue during bill runs; partner with IT and business teams to drive system improvements; produce ad hoc customer billing reports as needed
  • Usage assurance: Monitor, reconcile, and trend usage records and revenue on the Uniti network; investigate and resolve reconciliation and rating errors to ensure all call records are properly guided, rated, and billed


This role requires occasional weekend availability when bill cycles fall on weekends and will partner with the consumer billing manager as backup for cycle management. ***This position can be filled remotely anywhere within the country.***


What You'll Do:



  • Lead a team of Billing Analysts to ensure enterprise bill runs are accurate and completed on time -- from file creation through delivery to the customer
  • Develop and refine billing procedures; ensure compliance with financial controls; analyze billing data to identify process and system improvements
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual usage reports to validate processing accuracy
  • Research errored usage records and resolve issues in RevChain or in coordination with Mediation, IT Billing, and other teams
  • Collaborate with Mediation and IT Billing to ensure network and billing enhancements do not negatively impact usage revenue and to optimize billing cycle
  • Drive special projects when needed


Do You Have?



  • Experience in telecommunications billing
  • Knowledge of enterprise products
  • ANSI SQL script writing knowledge
  • Computer Skills - use of spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and reporting programs
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and function in a team environment
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of Metaswitch, Perimeta Switches, National Cluster cCFS switches, Lucent 5ESS, DMS, and Genband G9 switches



Even Better:



  • 3-5 Years of telecommunications experience, including usage rating and guiding
  • 3-5 Year prior management experience



Minimum Requirements:


College degree and 5-7 years professional level experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or 9+ years professional level related experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.



The compensation range for this position is from $76,100 - $99,900.
